What is the One Health Certificate?
The Graduate Certificate in One Health, offered through the Graduate Program in Public Health at Colorado State University, will help individuals expand their current health knowledge to prepare them to be leaders in the growing, transdisciplinary One Health field. Students will increase their competence and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams to solve complex problems at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health.
Who can apply?
We welcome applicants from any graduate or professional degree program or CSU employees at Colorado State University. You must either be a current CSU graduate student or a CSU employee who has an Undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year institution.
How do I apply?
The application process is simple and completed entirely online.

What is the application deadline?
We offer rolling admissions for multiple start dates throughout the year.
Do I need to have a background in science or health?
While a background in health or science is helpful, it is not required. We encourage applicants with diverse educational and professional experiences who are motivated to learn about One Health concepts. And there are no prerequisite courses required for admission.
How long does it take to complete the Certificate?
Graduate Certificate recipients can complete the program in 12 months, depending on their schedule and course load.
What courses do I have to take?
To earn your Graduate Certificate in One Health, you must complete all three required courses plus one course from the listed electives. You can view the specific required courses here.
Please note that you must be admitted into the One Health Certificate program for the certificate to appear on your official transcript.
How much does the certificate cost?
